「ニューロダイバーシティの未来に向けた実験」
shy*play によるワークショップ @YOKOSUKA / 0-eA
この参加型ワークショップで shy*play は、たどたどしい言葉を使いながらニューロダイバーシティ（神経の多様性）を共同で実現する環境づくりを提案します。周知のように、ニューロティピカリティ（精神の典型性）の社会では、標準化された方法で口頭で話したり書いたりする言語の使用が重視されています。それは通常、論理性と合理性を強調した直線的な構造に従うものです。身体と言語との相互作用によって承認されたこうしたアプローチは、みなさんを机の前に着席させ、「重要な話題」から精神を妨げないように身体を固定し、とりわけ西洋ではお互いの顔に集中させます。私たちはこうした要求を拒否し、ワークショップを通じて、異なる「言語」のあり方を模索していきます。それは、言語と関係を持ちながらその間を生き生きと動きまわる言葉遣い-----動き、行き交う質感、形、音、振動や色を伴う言語-----そのすべての連続的な関係性を大切にすることの提案でもあります。

Experiments for Neurodiverse Futurities
A workshop by shy*play at 0-eA Yokosuka Art Residency
For this workshop shy*play proposes to create collectively an environment for doing neurodiversity through languaging errantly. As we understand it, neurotypicality values methods of using language that are orally spoken and written in a standardized manner. This typically follows a linear structure, emphasizing logic and rationality. The approved approach for this kind of interaction between bodies and language usually takes place at a table, sitting on a chair, remaining still so that the body does not disrupt the mind from ‘its important work’, and, especially in the west, focusing on each other's faces. We reject this demand and propose during the workshop to value also other ways of doing language, especially the many different languages that move vibrantly beneath and between the words yet still in relation to them; for example, languages of movement, of passage, texture, shape, sound, vibration, and colour, all in continuous relation.
